The Queens Alumnae Chapter was chartered on June 4, 1951, by eleven dynamic women, including our Founder, Ethel Cuff Black. For many years, the Queens Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. has been a staple in the Queens community. We have worked hand in hand with community leaders, educators, and social activists to fulfill the commitment of enhancing and improving the lives of those in the Queens community.
Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. operates under our National Five-Point Programmatic Thrust of Economic Development, Educational Development, International Awareness, and Involvement, Physical and Mental Health, and Political Awareness and Involvement. Following this framework, we strive to address the needs of our Queens County global and diverse community.
